Parachute engaged at 2500 meters.

Engine Destroyed due to 10m/s landing speed.  Fuel tanks survived impact as did Doodner.

Crew Report Taken while flying over kerbins shores.

Parachute engaged at 2500 meters.


Craft splashed down in the water destroying our prototype of the Demon 1 Engine.
Jeb got out for a swim, conducting research on the effect of salt water on the standard issue space suit as well as collecting some water in a bottle for his nephew as a gift.  "I got this water on a planet!"

Flight Recorder and Mission log lost due to saltwater penetration of computer as a result of Jeb opening the hatch.

Science Earned : 23

Mission Status - Success.

Committee recommendation: Launch a second mission using the Demon 1 craft design with the same mission profile but pointing directly west instead of out over water.

I have started this blog to document the trials and tribulations of the kerbals and their pursuit of delicious delicious science. Mods used - Kerbal Engineer, Kethane, and Kerbal Attachment System.


 Kerbalkind has recently received funding for project Blue with the following mandate:

 1. Gather science from Kerbin's Sphere of Influence.

This includes atmospheric and biome data as well as surface samples from our home planet. To further that goal, our engineers have begun work on the 'Demon' series of engines.

The Demon series is a liquid fueled assembly utilizing the LV-T30 rocket engine.
